I’ve made this blog to connect readers to authors, give writers some tips, tell about contests and giveaways, and share a bit about what I’m interested in.
I’ve been making up stories for as long as I can remember. You can verify that with my parents who were sometimes not too sure whether I was spouting truth or fiction. This led to many weeks of restriction, where all I did was make up more stories, or read into the wee hours of the morning.
Now, I put these stories into my manuscripts with the same intense gusto I once used to get out of trouble. When I was in high school, my parents thought I’d seen the midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show five times.
It was a great way to extend my curfew, albeit a tad dishonest. I didn’t actually see the film until years later, but knew enough details to grab a lighter, and bag of rice to bring with me to the ‘movies’.
Now, I get my characters into all kinds of trouble, instead of myself. I’ve been contracted with Soul Mate Publishing for my debut novel, Protect Her. It’s a paranormal romance, and the first in The Druid’s Curse Series. You can read more about it here.
Frito keeps me on schedule with my writing by making sure I’m up at the crack of dawn. She’s learned how to turn on my clock radio, over and over, until I get out of bed, which is usually around three or four in the morning.
That’s a bit about me, would love to meet you. Hope you enjoy the blog,
